Academic training in Detmold (Nordwestdeutsche Musikakademie) with Prof. A. Wagner (choir conducting), C. Grohmann (organ), Prof. W. Steffens (composition) (1987-1992)
Teacher training at the Europaschule Gladenbach (Hesse) with a thesis (zweite Staatsarbeit) on film music (1996-98). Since then, employments as a secondary school teacher in Gerolstein, Salzhemmendorf, Essen and Düsseldorf with a focus on choir work, as well as continuous freelance composition and production work

Setting up of a recording studio for audio and MIDI productions (from 2005)
